Get a Sneak Peek of One UI 7 on Galaxy S24 FE via Samsung's Remote Test Lab

Samsung has recently made the stable version of One UI 7 based on Android 15 available for testing on the Galaxy S24 FE via the Remote Test Lab (RTL). This version comes with the January 2025 security patch and firmware version S721BXXU3BYA2. The Remote Test Lab, which was initially designed for developers to test their apps on real devices remotely, now allows users with a Samsung Account to access and try out the latest One UI 7 firmware virtually.

While the update brings several new features like the Vertical App Drawer, revamped Camera app, and AI enhancements, some features are missing in this version. Notably, ‘Audio Eraser’ and ‘Now Brief’ are not available, and the ‘Now Bar’ is visible in the settings but greyed out. Additionally, the Battery Health feature is also not showing up, which could be because this feature is region-dependent and currently only available on the Galaxy S25 series.

The One UI 7 beta is already available for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra in select regions like India, Germany, Korea, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S. Samsung plans to roll out the stable One UI 7 update to all compatible S-series models by the end of the first quarter, and then extend it to other eligible devices. Although the update is still rolling out, Galaxy S24 series users will be among the first to receive the One UI 7 update, and others can also get a preview via RTL in the meantime.
